Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m Jonathan Baker, a dual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). I was born and raised in a small suburb outside of Philadelphia, PA. After obtaining my Master’s of Science in Counseling from California State University, Fullerton in 2018, I have worked in a variety of different mental health settings, including Pathways OASIS, Aviva Family and Children’s Services, Drew Child Development Corporation, Mindpath College Health, and Two Chairs Therapy.
My specialties include clients experiencing experiencing anxiety, depression, impaired self esteem, life transitions, relational difficulties, and those who have experienced trauma. I also have extensive experience working with couples, students, and LGBTQ+ identifying individuals.
Beyond the aforementioned populations, I have had the privilege of working with unhoused older adults, economically marginalized children and families.
My mission is to help my clients shift from self judgment to self compassion, introspection, and growth.
Outside of my work as a therapist, I enjoy spending time with loved ones (including my cat and dog), exploring new restaurants, watching films, listening to podcasts and music, and getting lost in a good book.
